On April 26, 2022, Senior S.r.l. filed a patent entitled "ELECTRONIC NOSE", classified as G01N33 with application number 102022000008138. This patent relates to a particular type of electronic nose with the following general characteristics: the device must be able to protect the safety of the person not only from smoke poisoning but also from food poisoning. As part of this task, the electronic nose must be able to support people with a loss or reduction of their sense of smell and, more specifically, be suitable for people suffering from anosmia, hyposmia, and parosmia. Another purpose of the device is to offer the highest guarantees of reliability and efficiency, using technologies that are already known and therefore have low implementation costs.
