On the occasion of EXPO 2025 OSAKA: A SHOWCASE FOR THE PROMOTION OF MARCHE COMPANIES, within the framework of the PR MARCHE ERDF 2021–2027 – AXIS 1 – SO 1.3 – ACTION 1.3.4 – Intervention 1.3.4.2 – Support for the definition of innovative internationalization strategies for enterprises, promoted by the Marche Region, SENIOR SRL implemented the project Marche Immersive. The project’s goal was to enhance the cultural heritage of the Marche Region and strengthen cultural and commercial dialogue with Japan and Southeast Asia by using advanced digital technologies. Digital twins were created of two landmarks of Marche’s heritage: Piazza della Libertà in Macerata and Piazza del Popolo in Ascoli. The project enabled the virtual reality exploration of these two symbolic sites, accompanied by a multilingual AI guide, based on LLM technology, capable of answering visitors’ questions. SENIOR SRL organized Off Expo events to present the project, with the organizational support and venues granted by the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo, the Italian Trade Agency in Tokyo, and the Osaka University of Tourism.

The events organized included:
- Off Expo Workshop in Osaka during Marche Region Week (June 5) at the Osaka University of Tourism;
- Off Expo Workshop in Tokyo (June 13) at the Tokyo Office of ICE – Italian Trade & Investment Agency;
- Workshop of the exhibition "Giovanni da Nola, Annunciation – A Rediscovered Masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance" (June 16–27, 2025) at the Italian Cultural Institute in Tokyo.

The implementation of the Marche Immersive project has already generated concrete results on several levels, laying solid foundations for strengthening SENIOR SRL’s presence in the Japanese market.
